EMEX Control Systems has two decades of experience in building electrical control panels and carrying out electrical installations. We offer turnkey solutions including full SCADA software for a variety of different sectors with a wealth of experience with aggregates, including Conveyor Systems, Crushers, Asphalt Plants and many more.
Talk to us about your requirements and we can design a solution to meet your requirements and budget.
These type of distribution boards offer the best flexibility and safety for large industrial installations. The DB will be designed in conjunction with your requirements and incoming/ outgoing cable sizes.
Using a shipping container for housing a motor control centre (MCC) provides a robust and secure solution. Control panels and distribution boards can be installed and tested within our factory before the solution is shipped to site using a Hiab vehicle. Containers can also be used to house HV/LV transformers as part of a distribution solution.
PFC is often overlooked on most sites. It plays an important role in energy efficiency keeping energy usage down. PFC systems are often not working or have limited capability due to failed / degraded capacitors. Most systems are inadequately ventilated causing overheating. The PFC system can be assessed and most often be returned to good working order during the same visit.
This service not only identifies a potential overheating issue but also works towards preventative maintenance by identifying possible failures in the future. A traffic light system is used in a report to simply show if any components are out of tolerance.
Working closing with several software companies complex Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems can be created along with simple smart relay / basic PLC solutions being taken care of in house.
An application such as a downhill conveyor is ideal for regen inverters. The energy of material pushes the conveyer allowing the motor to act as a generator sending energy back into the electrical network, saving costs and being more environmentally friendly than a breaking resistor that dissipates the generated energy as heat.
Existing energy meters with Modbus can typically be monitored and logged through an online portal using a gateway device connected to the internet via a SIM card or existing internet connection.
Containerised Motor Control Centres are custom-built for a wide range of clients, including Benninghoven / Wirtgen UK for their asphalt plants throughout the UK and Ireland. These units are fabricated to exacting standards, fully wired, tested, and delivered ready for fast on-site deployment — offering a durable, modular solution ideal for harsh industrial environments.
If an upgrade or retrofit project is under consideration, we’re happy to provide a detailed quotation for the electrical scope of the work. Whether modernising legacy systems or expanding existing installations, we ensure minimal disruption and maximum long-term reliability.
